Glad to hear that Ubuntu has released a new version of this amazing OS!. This is Ubuntu version 8.04 with codes name is Hardy Heron. Not really sure what “Hardy Heron” is. One thing for sure that name is sound familiar to me. That’s name really cool isn’t it?. By the way Ubuntu is a free for everyone! that is the best thing in life.

I was admired and attempted to install Ubuntu along side with my window XP in the pass (if I not mistaken that was version 7.04) but I had facing numerous of error due to my computer has a different “Bios/system” on it (This is my own thought). In the end of the story I was give up and leaved it behind just like that.

I leaved it for a quite sometime and has been waiting until this new version come out and then, make an effort to re-install Ubuntu in my computer again. I was expected high on this version. I wish I can install Ubuntu at this time without any problem.

According to their website this new version of Ubuntu more reliable and stable. Despite that, it is very easy to install this version just like a cheese!! (I not yet experience it self). This version has several offer the way to install Ubuntu within your computer without ruining the system.

The easy way is using the application that called “Wubi”. “Wubi” is pretty small software which helping you to download the entire Ubuntu directly into your computer. Take a note, regarding this you need a broadband connection while “Wubi” download Ubuntu for you.

To those who don’t have broadband connection there were has a service that called “Ship it”. Request your own CD trough “Shipit” and it’s just take 2 weeks (like mine here!) or more. Download Ubuntu here!

Ubuntu new version is damn cool!. Even thought I’m not using Ubuntu officially, but I had to experience Ubuntu OS for a quite a while. Ubuntu new version was impress me a lot! for info about latest Ubuntu visit Ubuntu official website
