Life In the Jungle: Pursuit Of Happiness (Series 1)
I’m born at the rural area of Sarawak which most of us are poor and uneducated. We have a great government but when it’s going into “rural” or what else related to this, they’re failed!! My “long house” still unlighted and don’t have any proper road in order to access the major of town over there. The fact is we are still struggles in ours daily life. Can you imagine how struggle we are?
I’m not born as a superstar, just ordinary guy who powered himself with a desires and dozen of dreams! When other talking about their hero often time we heard “my hero is superman”, and the other said ” No lah my hero is David backham” or “My hero is Abdullah Badawi?”.

I never ever say that word is wrong or that is would not inspire your on your daily basis. By the way, If you like me I felt that sad, If you have a son like me I felt that kind of word suppose to be toward on me not to someone else. Hopefully someday while some else asking my lovely son about his hero, I wish my son can provide the answer just like this “My hero is my dad! no one else”.

So why this time I have to come up with the post like this? it’s unusual or abnormal? no!. Because this time I want to express my thankful to my late father and the fact is he’s my hero for life!. I’m proud of him even thought there’s nothing special about him or have a great achievement in all his life. But one thing for sure my father have to shown me the truly “father by example” .
He never failed to expressing his love over the family in fact, to the others too! I’m not a sensitive person. But while I’m talking about him am always got a tears in my eye. All of this remind me about his kindness and all advises which that I used in my entire life. Thanks a lot father! I love and miss you very much.
My father use to say “Pursuit of happiness” he added “that is important for your family and for some one who love you the most”. I realized my father is uneducated person who drop out from school due to his family can’t afford him any longer. But my father able to write and speak English very well (I thought far better than me hehehehe). His opinion and thought always out of the box!
P/s : To be continue…I need go to work. My life turn to upside down now. I’m work at night and sleep at the day. OMG it’s tiring.

Sorry to hear that bro. It is the MP’s duty to ensure basic necessities are in place, but unfortunately that does not happen just yet.
Hope your hometown get what it deserved in near future
that’s the big problem just now..too hard to say..but want think for sure all of us never refuse the development.
To be frank, I am quite surprise at your description of your hometown. Seriously, I never expect that to happen in Malaysia.
your people should start voicing out. It’s not fair the the government left that place out.
btw, both of the above is your kid and wife, right?
Voicing out? yeah we did bro..as usual our government promise there and here, but in the end of the day everything is gone..bro do you think should I become a political blogger? hahahha..Yup picture about is my lovely son and wife.
Hi there Bent?
Nice picture of your Junior and wife. I thought this post about father’s day… I immediately check the calender. LOL.
Yeah, i agree on the father’s thing. I hope he is resting in peace. Nothing like coming from a poor background but still excel in the modern community. Same case like me. My father just a penoreh getah and yes still can send all of us to higher education. Our father is our hero. that is for sure.
on the thing about development and government… sadly, this is the fact an equation that always there. promise left as promise only and the people keep suffering. Sad but true.
Just hope for the best and may we all stick together in our family.
Thanks Papajonah..I think that’s about father’s day too LOL!, Yup..agree with you, My father work as a “Pembalak” and I think no one know how danger this profession..both of my grandfather and my father pass away because of this..more more danger than a soldier nowadays. But one thing for sure is my father never ever talk bad about someone else..I admired that..and I try to be like him hahahaha..
We only held the title “poor” but our thinking is up to date..only this can change our future..isn’t ?
Talking about Kapit, one of the biggest hindrances of development is basically it’s hilly landscap and geographical properties. Developments are there but they are going at a very slow phase. The multi-millions RM (first) trunk road is half way done. One can easily reached Ng. Mujong using the road in less than 30 minutes time compare to almost one and half hours by long boat previously. The other utilities and infrastructure like electricity and water supplies can be effectively addressed if the authority can seriously tap the solar and gravity systems resources.
Yeah..agree with you “aki”. I admitted that “Kapit” is has the most horrible landscape and differ compare to the other states in Sarawak. Glad hear that we finally have ours very own road soon.
