Gimp As Good As Adobe Photoshop?
Gimp is officially for Linux OS as that is one of my favorite since I know that the Linux is very interesting stuff and worth to learning about Linux and related stuffs, Despite using Linux as my second Operation system, I’m glad and proud of using Gimp as my photos editing recently and can’t wait to explore more and more!

My first tutorial using Gimp is my son “Ben Bacquerall’s” wallpaper (Check it at the end of this article). Attempting and learned Gimps is very smooth because of Mrs Google (hehehehe) was flooded by Gimp articles and many tutorials for newbie is available everywhere. Just googling it then, you could get one!
The tutorial more and more easier to Novice user, Within through the Youtube it’s could be simple as well as you wish it be.
What is Gimp anyway?
- Created by Spencer Kimball and Peter Mattis in 1995
- Image manipulation program just like photoshop did! but please never made any comparison between them, both are different.
- Can do almost what photoshop did! but please Gimp is a free!
- Suitable for home user like you and me!
Not really sure how many of us using photoshop without legal license? Gimp is the best alternative to photoshop without you spend any of dime to get one. First time into Gimp I’m felt that Gimp is very weird and a bit skeptical toward the Gimp performance. Obviously, Gimp is the best free images manipulation so far.
Since then, It’s seem like I myself addicted to features that Gimp has offered. Very suite and pleased me at the first place :).
